Dear All,
I am working in Manufacuring company from last 1 year now increment is decided but my increment is zero because of my Boss. My qualification is M.B.A. D.L.L. L.L.B( 2nd Year pursuing). My boss qualification is 12th & previously no experience in HR. He was join after 6 months from my date of joining. He dont know meaning of P.F. also. I am handle all the HR functions but because of Internal Politics my Increment is zero. What can i do? Is our hard work is not Important? Is our qualification not Important? Why during my Qualification no one teach me POLITICS. My teachers only taught me HARD WORKING which i can do but whats the importance of Hard Working? My boss salary is three times grater than me & his increment is 35%? Tell me seniors why everything wrong with me? WHY?

Hello Vineet Deshmukh,
I understand your situation & feelings.
But first & foremost, pl try to develop your psyche that ensures YOUR response mechanism is NOT DECIDED by how others behave or act [in this case, your boss]. I know this easier said than done--but if you really want to have 'peace of mind' irrespective of what situation you are in, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. However, pl note that this DOESN'T MEAN that you should take such situations lying down. How you respond HAS TO BE DIFFERENT from how you feel.
Another thing to note is: just because you met such a boss doesn't mean all bosses are that way or that the CORE VALUES taught to you by your teachers are wrong or don't fit into the practical life. They do & despite such temporary situations, it's such core values that will take you a long way in your career--in the long-term.
Now coming to the situation in-hand, There seems to be only ONE OPTION for you. Just change your job--where your work will be better recognized [pl note that the focus is on YOUR WORK & NOT your qualifications--try to understand that qualifications give you ONLY the entry-eligibility, not experience, which is got by the work you do]. Unless, you see a chance of your boss leaving soon--but going by the salary he is getting, I doubt it [since he may not get such a job anywhere else].
All the Best.

First we should not be worry on other salary or personal matter.
We need to be consider what is in our plate.
First thanks that you have a Job, there are many MBA's who still unemployeed.
So Dear just think that today is there good time and next will be your good time.
So ignore all differences and carry on your good life and keep up the good work.
