Hi,
If you have spend reasonable time in your organization, do not keep an directive agenda. Start a casual chat and pick up the hints and get to know more about the staff.
If you are new you still can manage a casual chat starting with exp, hobbies, liking's etc. You can then relate yourself to certain points and continue the chat.
You can always take inputs from the HODs in case they need to know anything in specific from the employee and direct your interaction accordingly. I have been doing the same religiously and hence could gather lot about the staff.

Hi, Thanks for your valuable time & response Jhuma, it would help me to connect with employees. I don’t have any specified agenda for one on one with employees, I would like have casual discussion with the employees on work environment and on about expectation on HR support.

Hi,
If you are new to this company no one will come to you with problems because it is your first chat and the feedback will be positive only. After spending some time and observation only they will come up with problems. First try to increase confidence on you sothat they will automatically come to you to share everything.
