What is your organisation's policy?
Incase you want to send salary to employees, who are located outstations, then preferable dd, which should be sent during 4th week(between 25th to 30th)
If it is local clearance then you may issue the cheque in a gap of 2/3 days time before closure of month.

Thanks for your reply.
Our organisation is a manufacturing unit and we are paying wages and salary before 7th day of following month.
But from this month company want to pay a/c payee cheques on 7th day of the following month to staff.
Than We want to clearify that what is the law says.
Because we are confused that 7th day of the following month is for the clearing date of the cheque or we can pay 7th day by cheque.
