Dear members,
I have a question for the HR members here. If a company's logo has changed, then apart from the correspondence, do we also need to change the ID card of all the existing employees, or can they continue with the same?
What is the correct approach?

Pls let me know.

Thanks
Aakanksha

Hi, In case of change in Company's logo primarily new letterhead with revised logo to be printed. With regard to ID card , yes it would be good to change it but if the number of the employees is on the higher side, if cost factor will be more then nothing wrong in carrying the existing id card. for new joinees id card new logo can be printed. These are employer specific and no hard and fast rule.

I think no emergency involved. It's for better operational exigencies the logo on IDs can be reprinted at the soonest so that cost factor is taken care of. Normally ID cards are replaced periodically as efflux of time colour fades in a year or so as the IDs are prone to frequent use. In order to clear the air, HR.Admin better issue a general circular that IDs in use can be recognised till such time new IDs with new logos are printed. Any new prints can be with new logos.
