I wanted to list out some disadvantages with unsatisfied employees,
1. As they are unsatisfied, they will not show the interest on their roles and responsibilities
2. They try to demotivate the other employees also all the time
3. They speak bad about the organisation in & out always
4. They will nor give the best results in the work assigned to them

Disadvantages on company's side -
- Above 4 are perfectly Applicable
- Company has invested money in such employees salaries etc. so financial loss to company as company does't get required output in terms of money being paid.
- Company's work is suffered and chances of major blunders to happen.
- Competitor's are at advantage if such employees are in marketing / sales field
- Technological errors which may prove costly to company
Disadvantages on unsatisfied employee's side -
- His own morale is down, no willingness to work
- No concentration at work so all these can affect his appraisal
- His personal life and relations also gets affected

Dissatisfied employees will not take extra initiatives.
They will go through the motions as required but w/o the spirit and energy behind it.
In a competitive world it is the employee behind the machine who makes the difference.
One must remember that Indian pilots using Gnats brought down superior Pak Sabre jets in 1965 war.The pilots had the advantage of high morale and satisfaction levels and could take on superior technological aircraft.
All steps need to be taken to develop and increase employee satisfaction for increased productivity and grwoth.
