Before issuing termination letter, you have to go thru carefully the "Appointment letter" given to the particular employee at the time of appointment.Furhter whether the employee concerned is in permanent Service, according to the labour law Notice period to be adhered by the company.
Do not take any hasty decision, which will have adverse impact on the company. You can consult your Labour Consultant" for further proceedings.
