Hi Every One,
I have joined in this company 9 months back.
The management didn't waved off my Probationary period.
In Probationary period, I will have only 1 CL per month. After conformation, I will be getting 2 CLs per month.
The management has waved off probationary and increased salaries to the employees, who joined after me.
Shall I consider this as a warning and put my papers?

Dear Jyothirmayee,
Legally, a probationer is on par with a confirmed/regular employee in respect of statutory leave benefits. Of course, the scale of its availment at a time or per month by a probationer can be restricted to certain extent in view of his probationary status. I don't think that this is the only issue intriguing you to putting down papers at the very early phase of your employment. Why don't you make a self-introspection to find out the actual reasons for your being left out, while others who joined after you were advanced to the stage of confirmation? What is the original length of your probation period? Whether from the day one do you have any inexplicable dislike towards the job or the organization? Have you been appraised of your performance? If so, have you tried to improve your performance? Whether your probation got officially extended? Do you have a strong feeling that you have been wantonly passed over because of any personal reasons? Do you have any better alternative job on hand? Try to find dispassionate answers on your own and then decide. But don't forget that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
