Dear All,
I am currently doing a Part time Masters in Human Resource(MBA-HR)from Welingkar Instiute.
My Current job profile is Not related to HR.I want to Shift my career.I am trying my luck from last one year to get a HR profile in a Company. But i am not getting a proper guidance as how i should look for a change to shift to HR profile.
I have seen that companies are preferring People who have completed MBA,so where do People stand who are Pursuing MBA.
kindly send ur feedback.......

honestly... il ask around and let u know in a couple of days. till that time, you could host your Cv on jobsites..like naukri.com ...
n extreme honesty...for me...i dont really care, as long as its an Hr consutancy, decent job with patient people who wont mind me asking questions, little pay and fun
beggars cant be choosers in my case :D

Hi Trupti,
By the way welcome to Citehr.com!! hope this forum turns to be a great learning forum as it has been for all of us..
Hmm..may we know your current profile?..guess it must be customer service or support function..maybe you haven't positioned yourself well enough to be recruited by companies...
Change to HR profile?..can you manage internal change in present organization..as it would supplement your learnings as well as the organization would benefit as well..win - win situation..offer your services for HR assignments or to do the back end work to start with..if you display enthusiasm & drive..you would get the opportunity..
Must admit it;s not easy but it's not that difficult if you r clear what you want to do..
Becoz they are assumed to have competencies & knowledge than those who are still pursuing the course..am sure once you finish the course ..opportunities would open up..
Have a great day..

Dear Trupti,
Even i am MHRDM from welingkar , i too struggled hard to get in to HR initially. But, to start with you can go ahed with some jewelry manufacturing company where attrition pertaining to All the jobs is very high and also the industry itself is booming up.Many new setups are coming inside SEEPZ,Andheri.

Hello Trupti,
Have seen your message. What is your current profile?? It is good to note that you are doing your Masters in HR . Possibly the best way to start is from the bottom by joining in an organisation's HR dept & gradually you can work yourself to tthe top . You can start working under a very experienced person in this field & I am sure that by that time you would have completed your Masters also.
Make a list of consultants who are specialising in the Field of HR . you can even choose the option of joining a Recruitng / Consulting Firm for starters also.
I am sure that you will do well in your career . All the very best to you.

hiiiiiii Truptui..........
the kind of work u were doing initially was very much part of HR, and u should easily get a HR coordinator job in any of the ITES firm based out of Mumbai ................
frankly tell u, u should start applying in companies like ICICI First Source, WIPRO Spectramind and other BPOs and IT firms...........and if u r really intersted in joining as a recruitment associate in a multinational IT company based out of mumbai...........write me immediately at this id....
or call me at this no. immediately 9867054832
and believe me, u r not a chooser (somebody mentioned that beggars are not chooser)........i think no body shd, rather carry such kind of attitude..........
(also ATTITUDE determines ALTITUDE...........)
so keep smiling and ready to conquer the world....... :D
good luck
