I have registered in a consultancy.During registration they are charged 200 rupees from me also signed an agreement in their letter pad.In that agreement they are mentioned that if I got a job through them,have to pay 2 months salary.I have got only one interview through them.At that interview attended on July 17 2016.At that time the company have no requirement for employee,so they send me back.That was my last interview through them.Then I started job seeking my own and I got a job after 2 month.while I have been working there,I got offer from the interviewer directly.Because of that is my core job I accepted.Now I am working in that company.The consultancy people are insulting and harassing me with that I have signed.Please help me if there is a solution to clear those issues.Because I don't have enough money to pay.kindly give me a solution for this .

Hi Arun, You don’t need to pay a single penny to the consultancy. If needed, you can approach a corporate advocate and send a legal notice to them.

They came to my office and Warned me that if you don't pay can't work in Bangalore.They will send my profile to all companies as a cheater.And also said they will block me at company gate,don't allow me to work in my office .I am alone in Bangalore what will I do? kindly please give me a solution

Do not worry. You need to consult the advocate ASAP and if he recommends, you need to file a harassment complaint in the police station. Is your present company well aware of this situation? If not, write an email to the Head HR and your immediate manager/HOD regarding the situation. Remember, compose an email in such a way that you are seeking advise/help from them and not as an information.

They cannot ruin your career. Worst case, they might try to harm you physically and that can be prevented when you seek an advocate's help, also with a police complaint. No wonder why they are behind you, as you went for a compromise and they would have thought that you will pay if pressurized :) No worries, in Bangalore if this news goes to media, then what ever reputation they hold will disappear in no time.

Please don't worry. They can't harm you in anyway. It become duty of your employer to protect you. Since, the consultancy is bringing the employer name in this issue (since you joined with the particular employer, and the consultancy is seeking money), you can get assistance with your employer. Tell your HR that they are doing the same to many people by spoiling the company name and reputation. They will take care.
Moreover, you didn't sign in any legal papers. Even in some cases, Legal Contract without Authentication of officials like Govt Registration, will not be valid. You have signed just in a letter head. There are numerous letter head companies in our country without any office. You don't believe that one letter head print cost is just Rs.4. That is the reason, many companies don't believe the letter heads (appointment/experience letters) and they do verification.
If they even trouble in public places (in office gate, road or anywhere), you can complaint to Police Station. It is not bad at all. Believe me, they will assist you. (They will definitely solve this issue, without FIR process). It will definitely solve the problem without any legal cases. As you are fresher, I can understand that you can't afford Advocate. If you can, go ahead. (I personally think, it won't be required for your case).
