Sir my father died on 25/06/2019 due to road accident injuries on 17/06/2019 during the service period. my father died due to an employment injury and ESIC also considered their death case as employment injury so now for getting EDLI & 10D what is DATE OF EXIT? 25/06/2019 or 26/06/2019? EMPLOYER MARKED 25/06/2019 AS EXIT DATE and given reason for EXIT WAS " DEATH IN SERVICE".
ECR also paid by employer by INSTRUCTION (query obtained from EPFO when we submitted composite claim-i.e, 1.why not fill ECR up to death of Date?2.DOJ/DOL does not match with company record) of EPFO up to 25/06/2019. Before EPFO query ECR paid by employer up to 17/06/2019 but by EPFO instruction employer filled remained ECR from 18/06/2019 to 25/06/2019. so in this case what is the DATE OF EXIT? please guide me. EPFO officers told verbally to me that if one day will differ for DATE OF EXIT then they will be rejecting EDLI & pension claim.
