Hi,
Can you please help me to draft a letter against notice period not served. Actually one employee joined us, he worked for a day and then after taking the appointment letter he disappeared. He did not inform us anything and avoided our calls and mails thereafter.
I want to send a legal notice to him and inform his current employer about his breaking the company policy.
So, please send me a sample letter for the same.
Regards,

Hello Sonali,
First & foremost what is it you ACTUALLY want to achieve?
The guy worked just for a day. Do you think it is worth the effort for you to spend so much time & effort to go thru the process what you are trying to do? Unless of course you have any evidence he grabbed some confidential info and vanished.
Frankly I don't think it's worth the effort...just forget him and get on with your work.

I appreciate TS's view point and also wants to add one more point that instead trying to take action on the guy who disappeared you should concentrate, understand and address the consequences what made the new incumbant to move out just in a day's time so that you can arrest the others to follow. Don't waste your valuable time on non-value added works.

hi all,
in this case, he worked for only 1 day.. but what if the employee has worked for say around 1 year and then he moved out breaking the notice period policy ? what action can we take on him ?
and what kind of consequences he will face in his future career?
awaiting for your reply...

Usually, if the employee goes absconding his employment stands automatically cancelled . Two or three reminders are send to the last known address and then his F&F is send to the last known address.
I dont think there is much you need to do, fighting a legal case against one person by the company is a total waste of resources and time.
