Dear Sachin,
Whether labour laws or otherwise, whether Madhya Pradesh or any other state, you need to follow the laws. Government passes laws to avoid exploitation of the weak, to bring social justice and order, to narrow rich and poor divide etc. If you raise the query on mandatoriness of the law itself, then it is better if you refer textbooks of civics that was taught to you in your school days. When the query comes from a "subsidiary of a foreign company", it casts unflattering light on the poor awareness of the laws.
To know the list of the laws that your company is required to follow, you will have to hire consultant. Yes, you may refer this forum or search web resources but then the information will be scattered and picking them up and organising it in systematic manner may not be possible for a novice like you.
Thanks,

Hello Mr. Dinesh,
If I had taught in my school days by books which I need to refer, then why I needed to ask you about the same. It doesn't matter, what I taught in my school days, the matter is, can you give me answer of my question.
If I need to hire a consultant, so I think, no need to try on citehr.com for any query or issue, right?
I don't want to hire any consultant, and I am just wasn't to clarify that;
Is it mandatory to follow labour laws by a private limited company???
Secondly, If I can search on web resources, so no need to discuss with citehr.com.
Mr. Dnesh, I already tried to search and learn through we resources but some things can not give us proper answers for our queries. That's why I tried to reach you.

Dear Sachin,
While raising a query, members are expected to apprise themselves by reading books or other sources and then come up with the doubts. Members also can come up with the query if there is chance of misinterpretation. However, your query is so basic that hardly it should find a place on a professional forum like this. Forums of this kind are not for nurturing junior member's childishness. If junior member wishes to do that then there are other places. Far from realising folly, you have come up with your second post that defends your puerileness.
Anyway, there is no point in quibbling further. All labour laws are applicable to all the states of India and that includes Madhya Pradesh as well. This settles your query!
Thanks,

It looks a little ludicrous to raise the query, ' is it mandatory to follow all labour laws by a private limited company in Madhya Pradesh?' Do you have any vague thought that you will be able to get away without following the law or are you entertaining the idea that anything is possible in Madhya Pradesh? Please have no such misgivings. Applicable laws have to be followed or else you will be penalised sooner or later. To make a list of all applicable laws or the terms thereof is a time-consuming task in itself and could be tried by getting a condensed book on Labour Laws. For any of your further query in the matter, you may avail the services of this forum.

Dear Colleague,
Generally speaking, all labour laws enacted by the Central and State Govt. are applicable and mandatory based on whether your establishment is factory or commercial .
Further each law specifies wage limit and number of workmen employed for its applicability and one must refer each applicable law for that as well as definition of 'Employee', 'Workman' for coverage.
Please refer each labour law and find out its applicability to your establishment in the light of the above as well as comments from some seniors .
But do study if the Central/State governments have given any exemptions/relaxations from certain labour laws to IT/ITES start- up units by way of an incentives.
