Can anybody explain me CTC concept in detail and its benefits from both Employer’s and Employee’s point of view?

Myself Amit Seth working with an IT company at Ahmedabad.
CTC stands for Cost to the Company i.e the total cost in terms of money or material that company has to bear to employed a particular employee. It includes-
Gross/Month
Bonus
Incentives
PF contribution from the employer side
ESI contribution from the employer side
Mediclaim facility cost
Fuel Allowance
Food Coupons
Hard furnishing cost if any in the Policy
And like wise any other cost.
