As far as my knowledge goes the mater of ESI for Construction workers is pending before Honorable SC of India in the year 2018. Any recent updates on this important subject happened post to that. If so kindly share to all for benefit of understanding. I enclose an attachment on the subject from ESIC in the year 2018. Hope the status is still maintained. You may check with ESIC for further updates.
Hence you need to go for Employees' Compensation Policy after checking with your Local ESI authorities to protect the interest of the Employer and Employees.
