Tejarani Hello,
Don't go by any vendors or by their reputation just becoz they say so. No offence meant to them either.
Infact they have no obligation whatsoever to get you placed in a better role. Its their business and you are customer.
Thats all.
Get your focus clear. What industry do you want to be a part of as L&D personnel?
Do you have any ideas of the various career paths for L&D in a specific industry?
C'mon you are in L&D and you must use the most essential needs analysis tool in your arsenal for you own need assessment.
Are you looking for skill based training? knowledge based training? or tech based training?
Get started,right, there.
I will give you a hint - don't waste your time with skill based programs (training skills) rather go for knowledge based program
(MBA) or something that gets you foot inside the corporate door - understanding business.
These days L&D is driven by technology. That maybe an option for you to work with an LMS company
if you are very good with you instructional design.
Hope its given you some good ideas to play around with.
Best Wishes
