Dear Mrunal
To control the attrition rate in any industry is possible only by the proper Motivation to the employees. Making the proper rules with the clients also will help our employees to keep up their standard and self esteem.
Highly motivated employees will not go out of company and industries.

Hi All,

This is Suhil from AIFM ( Alliance of infrastructure and facility managers) Alliance of Infrastructure and Facility Managers (AIFM) is a non-government, not-for-profit,industry managed organization, playing a proactive role in India's Facilities Management
Community. AIFM is a self sustaining body recognized nationwide for its meaningful role in the Infrastructure & Facilities Management Community. With an objective to provide a common voice for the Facilities Management industry and
enhance the credibility of Facilities Management

Attrition in FM industry is there but as I look at this from different perspective. FM's have the decision making authority in the company. They know in and out of the co's infrastructure. I suggest FM's can identify areas of improvement and take up projects, do CBA and present to mgnt thereby increasing their stake and lot of improvement areas are there to be identified.

Against this AIFM organises Six Sigma specialized training session only for FACILITY MANAGERS.

Do let me know your thoughts on the same

Suhil

Hi I would like to add that the FM should have the capability to handle pressure at the sit and his attitude should not affect his team.
