In Karnataka, minimum wages for Security guard is RS 11941/-
Kindly review and comment on my salary structure wether it's legal or not.
Basic 11941( Including DA)
Deductions:
ESI (@1.75%)=209
EPF( @12%) = 1433
Uniform washing Allow=300
Net pay= 11941+300-209-1433 = 10599

depends who is liable to deduct and pay to ESI / EPF
if it is done by principal employer than, ESI/EPF payable on Gross , no deduction
if it is maintained by contractor, then they can split to Basic + HRA+ Conveyance or washing allowance, in this case the EPF amount would be lower

Sir,
Deductions will be done by Security Agency. Not by the principle employer.
Karnataka govt defined minimum wage as Basic+DA(10350+1591) only.
In this case how can the Minimum wage 11941(Basic +DA)breaked to reduce deductions by Security agency.
Kindly help me to get Clear.

follow the state rules first if state govt has fixed the basic and DA then it can not be split
