Can anyone let me know the leave policy generally being followed in MNC's in India. when refered to websites leave policies mostly given for workers in factory. how about leave policy for white-colared jobs.

the one i belong follow only earned leave...(21 days in a year)
no cl, no medical leave...
nothing...
they say many but practse nothing on HR front...

Leave rules will be as per the Indian Labor law 1. If it is a office -follow Shops & Establishment Act of particular state 2. If it is factory - will be under Factories Act Regards Srikant

As following persons raised a common question reg a leave policy in MNC.
This is for kind information to everyone is that very such a companies/ organisation are followed in a proper manner and balanced leave plocy otherwise they defind accordingly their company structure and benefits. HR is playing a vital role in any organisation and he/she makes a rule, regulation and policies, so every policy depends on hr and oranization also. As per my best of knowledge normally leaves categories in EL(Earned Leave), Casual Leave(CL), maternity leave, paternity leave. 9-10 EL and approx.12CL is being followed.
