Query on amalgamation of trade unions: As per Sec. 24, amalgamation of trade unions can be made with or without dissolution of their respective trade unions. In the case of dissolution the unions which amalgamate into the existing one have to lose their existence. How can trade unions amalgamate into one without dissolving their trade unions? Is supporting an existing trade union from outside without dissolution is called amalgamation?
