Does anyone have an idea of the requirements for this position and what performance management processes to capture in order to evaluate the performance of a Trainee Manager at a Restaurant?

Hi Dr. Mohan,
Thanks for your offer to look into this. This is a case study from my MBA program, and requires that I develop a performance appraisal for a Management Trainee. The restaurant caters to parties, and business parties. It has about 35 employees, with a chef, the trainee manager reporting directly to the Owner. This is a unionized environment, but the Trainee Manager has just started working here for 2 months and is still on probation.
I need to develop a performance appraisal to measure her job competencies, and would appreciate some pointers for developing this appraisal.
