Let me know if my understanding is correct . As per section 16(c) and (e) of Maharashtra shops and Est Act 2017 it is comp off + double wages if a worker works on weekly off.

16(c) If a worker is denied weekly holiday, the compensatory leave in lieu thereof
shall be given within two months of such weekly holiday.
i.e employee can avail his compensatory off within two month.
