I have a scheme certificate from my past employer which was issued in the year 2002. In 2002, after a gap of a 6 months, I took employment in the present company. When I left the 1st Company, I had taken out my PF amount but because of 10 years of service , I received the scheme certificate. My past employment ( 1992-2002) does not have UAN nor is Aadhar Linked.

I will turn 58 in a few months. In my present member Login against UAN, I can only see my current employment details in past service details.

I have tried the following to add my previous employment -

1. I tried to use the transfer request - One member one Account function in member portal but the system is asking to generate UAN for old member ID.
2. When I try to generate UAN for earlier ID, it says Data mismatch. Contact Previous employer.

Question :
Do I need to do any thing to add my previous employment to current UAN before submitting my 10D pension application ?

Or do I just Upload my scheme certificate while applying for 10D online ? (there is a provision for uploading scheme certificate)

Hi,

At the time of joining with new employer you are supposed to submit the scheme certificate with them. As per the process the new employer is supposed to submit your EPS scheme certificate and Form 11 to the respective PF office which would have enabled them to transfer the amount to your new PF Account.

Now please contact your past employer to allot new UAN for you.

Please do not upload your scheme certificate through online as you need to merge both old and current pension ( if applicable).
