I am reaching out for help for my brother.
He has got offer from a company but issue is with his previous firms and PF account numbers.
2 firms, A and B created two UAN numbers.
Firm A - he was employed for 3 months July to October. In this, his DOB is incorrectly mentioned by the employer.
Firm B - he was employed for 1 month. November. This is linked with Aadhar and has correct details.
Now my brother has not shown firm B's experience as it was just 1 month and it was not an experience at all.
He is confused which PF number should he provide to next organization. If he provides the UAN created by firm B, would the new employer would be able to check his service history with firm B and ask him questions regarding that.
Kindly help what should be done?
