Dear professional Colleagues,
I request you to kindly share infomration on the following query:
If an employees works less than 20 days in any particular month, will he/she loose Weekly Holiday and Festival Holiday Benefit for that month. In instant case during Sept 2017, out of 24 working days the employee took 4 days leave without pay and her working days was reduced to 20 days. Hence she will loose Sunday benefit and festival holiday benefit. Therefore, for having availed 4 days leave without pay, she has lost salary for 10 days (4 LOP + 4 Sundays + 2 Dasara festival holidays).
Now my question is whether such Leave policy adopted in any organization has got legal sanctity and in compliance with law and rules a-applicable. Any organisation is following such leave policy. Kindly share some knowledge on this so that it will help for future guidance and we can gtry for tghe reversal of such punitive policy
