Hi, Can anyone please put light on the attached travel policy... which is for the sales officer level.
I am looking forward to valuable suggestions for HR professionals. So that I can make it more employee-friendly as well as employers.

Some of my observations are :
1) The word "Applicability" appears twice though in different contexts but it may confuse some.Better to avoid repetition.
2)Under the point "Applicability ", the policy specifies as to what visits are covered under the policy. There may be many other occassions where an employee may have to undertake tour on company's work. Therefore it will be sufficient, it it is said that the policy covers every tour/travel undertaken on comapny's work/duty.
3)Classification of cities does not appear prudent. How a metro like Ahmedabad can be clubbed with small town like Amaravati.
4) Under the head "Domestic Policy" , the DA is kept uniform. On the otherhand I feel it should vary according to the clasification of cities.
These are some observations.

I would like to know the basic charges fixed by the private companies for their outstation expenses, including, local travel, accommodation, food etc.
