Dear All,
In my organization when an employee resigns, his last month's salary is blocked and the full credit is done on the 15th of the month subsequent to his separation.
The PF contribution is deducted at the same time. As a result of this, his/her PF contribution for one month is deducted in the next month and the same is filed in the ECR. However, this results in the resigning date being wrong than what is mentioned in the transfer/withdrawal form and the form gets rejected.
Kindly advise a remedy. Also advise if I can enter the correct date of exit in the next cycle itself.

Your action of paying the last salary late is a violation of the payment of wages act.
The salary of an employee has to be paid by the 7th / 10th of the next month. In case of any employee leaving the organistation, the wages are to be paid in 2 working days from the last working day.
