Hi Ram,
EPF contirbution total is 25.61%
in this 12% contribution is by Employee himself. And remaining 13.61% will be paid by employer.
Now am explaining for your question.
If employee's basic salary is 11000,
His contribution is Rs.1320. PM
Employer Contribution is Rs.1497 pm
As per EPF & MP Act 1952, Employee Pention Fund's Ceiling Amount is Rs.541 only. So Remaining Amount deposited to Provident Fund. If employee contribute voluentary it will goes to Provident Fund's Account.
If employee pay's for 21 years, he will get 8.5% of Interest p a (it will be vary) and his total amonut. Even if the total amount is 2 crores & more than this he will be eligible (He has rights) to get that amount.
