One of our employee has taken 15 days leave continuously, does this leave period include weekends or not? Any sandwich leave policy will be applicable here or not? Thank you

Hi, It depends on your organisations's leave policy. If you are following sandwich rule then leaves will be count along with weekends or any other holiday leave, if not then he/she can enjoy leaves without any further deduction of weekly offs.

Any leave in continuity for a week or more the week off will not be applicable, hence weekly off days are counted as Leave. Say if any employee is going for 3o days leave from 1st of June till 30th of June will you still pay for 4 weekly off as Salary ???.
