In our understanding, the "Show-Cause " Notice or Letter or Written Communication and the "Charge-Sheet" Do Serve the same Purpose/Objective;
when the Employer /the Authorised Signatory/ Punishing Authority in the Establishment
i) "informs" the Employed Person about/of the "allegations of Misconduct" / alleged Failure to discharge "Obligations"/Duty alleged to have been committed by the aforesaid Person in course of Employment and or arising out of Employment; and
ii) asks the said Person to submit satisfactory Written Explanation as to Why further necessary Disciplinary Action should not be taken for the alleged Acts of Misconducted.
The Format /nomenclature may appear to be distinct yet the Purpose is the same.
