Is there any one who have idea about Leadership Readiness Index /insight on Leadership Readiness index in terms of definition, formula

Dear Sugreev,
Leadership is a too nebulous concept to be confined to some defined framework. Leader cannot be equated with some athlete whose long jumps or sprint can be measured. Leadership has composite structure of innumerable competencies. Above all, there are various levels of leadership i.e. team leadership, organisational leadership, strategic leadership etc. How anyone can define index to measure? If at all the measure is defined then will it be accurate?
Anyway, other senior members may give their opinions.

As stated above there is no clear formula to measure leadership readiness index , but as organization we need to be ready to identify the talent pipeline , and readiness of employees to take various leadership roles within the organization.
As a start you may wish use the 9 box tool to understand growth readiness of your various employees, which then in line with assessment center based on your companies competence framework will allow you to identify which employee are ready to step into leadership profile.
