HR Policies depend upon your Organisation's Mission, Vision and Values. There is no standard list at all. Perhaps you have not been taught these things during your MBA. Even letter formats, templates are designed according to your organisational requirements, your business processes, your requirement of candidates or human resources for running your business. Nobody can provide you such a list without knowing these things about your organisation.
People like me, with over 47 years of industry experience, half of which in HR domain provide HR Consultancy on these matters. Recently, I was in a Gulf Country ie Doha, Qatar for 8 days, last month for auditing a large logistics organisation with 400 + employees. We found NO Organisation Structure, no Job Descriptions, No KRAs, No KPIs but they want to go ahead with Performance Management System. We have given them a road map for implementing all these things. Next month we are going there again for staying there for one month for installing all these things.
If interested, please let me know.
Best wishes

Your roles and responsibilities can be better defined by your Immediate Superior or the boss. He should know why he recruited you, in the first place ! It is really amusing that you are asking us this question !! As I mentioned above, everything from Recruitment to Retirement comes within the ambit of HR. Much depends upon the nature of business of your organisation, size of employees, types of people being recruited, the vision, mission and values of your company etc etc. It is pretty vast. External people like us cannot spell out anything unless you tell us about your organisation in its entirety. We will be asking a lot of questions and you should first know about your own organisation well enough to respond to us ! So, start off with your boss first !
