Dear Concern,
My name is Anuradha. I am from Bangalore and working as HR professional in a garment company.
I have been working in this organization for last 3.7 Yrs and has been rated good every year. All was good until I conceived in April-2017 & in the same month i had intimated to employer for proper hand off for my upcoming planned leave. My responsibility towards work started being questioned by my supervisors and all kind of mental torture started. All of a sudden i was declared a poor performer.
Now in Sep-17, when i am planning to avail maternity leave, employer has asked me to put down paper, but i am not willing to do so.
Please suggest what action i should take to avail my maternity leave, and continue to be employed in same organisation.

Dear Anuradha,
In the last 2-3 months, there was voluminous discussion on the maternity leave. You may check the following links to refer those threads:

Go through the above threads, find out what is the most appropriate solution to you and come back to this forum again. As such you are from HR and no detailed explanation is necessary.
Thanks,

Dear Dinesh,
Thanks for your information, its really help.
One thing i need to know that, as of now my employer asked me to put down paper orally, no written communication as such, hence can i send mail to my seniors about the same or should i wait for mail from my senior side ?
Thanks in advance.

Please don't resign from your side. Employer can't take any action(termination). Termination for any reason would become illegal at this stage. Hope you have issued notice to the employer in Form-B and E to the employer. If not please submit immediately.
If you are covered under ESIC, then please visit to your concern Branch office for the claim, since your wages are paid from ESIC for 6 months.
