Hi Seniors
I planned to do MHRM through distance learning but none of the recognised universities are providing in distance mode.
One of my friend suggested me to do PGDBA specialisation in HR @ Symbiosis, went through the broacher, I found interesting, so I planned to do but one which is stopping me is there is no institution over here in Chennai. So whatever may be (Application/DD/assignments) I need to send to Pune through courier, if it dint reach thats it my efforts will go vein.
I went through the consumer complaints website, the complaints raised against symbiosis is boosting my negative thoughts.
Can anyone please give me confidence that I can go with Symbiosis... Does anyone has experience in Symbiosis??
Pls Seniors help me on this....

Hi Supraja,
I have done my MBA from SCDL only and did not face any issue. Couriers did reach on time and they also sends communication thru courier only.
Lot of ppl are doing Post Grad from SCDL without any issues.

And one thing I didnt understand why you are going thru this kind of consumer complaints on websites and who told you to do this??
You are a matured and educated person, living in 2011 dear. It doesn’t mean that you found something on web which made you feel bad, can be repeated with you in future...
See there is nothing wrong in making this communication with SCDL and wanna tell you that my younger sister is also pursuing PGDHRM from Symbiosis and have complete her 3rd SEM and have never faced anything like you are worried about...Also I know numbers of people personally who are with SCDL.
Even I would like to appreciate their communication system with Student bcz if they found anything wrong, even they intimate the students by Email notification or their Student Account (SCDL STUDENT ACCOUNT) and put the necessary details related to Student on the same place. Also you can found other important bulletin and information about SCDL Students and new courses and paid/unpaid program fee details on their official webpage.
They are providing complete details and Solutions of students problems to their students related to everything like Programe Fee, further Communication with Student, Study and Study Material, Exam related queries, Online Study and communication /chat with Professors thru' online study and more....
I dont think their shud have any problem, question and situation, kind of you are into. Go with it without any fear and one more thing I would like to tell you that in this modern, advance and educated world, you must not think about it, before having any communication, you are worried about ....lolzzz well stop thinking like that..ok!!!

If you see the books and course content of Symbiosis and Welingkar both are same ( only cover page is different)
Fee also symbiosis charge less.
Dont depend on consumer complaint forum , there is no organization which will provide you 100% service. Courier or Postal service or the intermediary partners sometime do the damage too.
If you are doing from IIM then it makes huge difference else all are same. If you are going for distance learning what is the requirement to be in class room study . MBA is not a rocket science , what ever we study during BCOM , ( NEHU syallbus) 75% things are repeated during PGDBA

Everyone knows the value of money but for me its little special. To pay the fees for August 2011 (Rs 15000), I need to start saving from today onwards. I have so much of financial commitments. Hey Supraja yaar money matter for everyone and it doesn’t mean that im a rich then I don’t need to worry about, yaar I know and can understand your concern but wanna tell you again don’t worry about it…also you are not paying your fee by CASH but by Demant Draft and now I wanna let you remind that the Demand Draft system has been created by the Govt for the concern like this specially while we cant pay the amount cash.
DD option is 100% secure and safe. Also if by any chance your Fee DD will not reached to the SCDL, believe me no one can encashed this. So you can go with it without any fear of losing your money. OK!!!
