We have authorised distributor of Bajaj spare parts our material comes door delivery from transport and transport mathadi delivery goods to our doorstep other mathadi toli demands that material from truck to our doorstep should be given to them and u should pay money to u whereas has of now is door delivery so pls tell us what to do? Is it compulsory to have mathadi worker for material from truck to our doorstep or transport person can do the work pls guide us

Please read the Mathadi Act and check if your organisation and nature of job falls into that category.
Fact is that Mathadi Unions are making misuse of the Act for pushing their Toli members in any company.They will give you a letter from their union with a cc to local police station. There are their gimmicks.You dont have to entertain them and act diplomatically and without getting tensed under their pressure.Do not say directly no to them.Instead you can tell them that our transport workers are already Mathadi workers and are competent to do the jobs and that we cannot allow other Mathadi members. Yout have to politely and indirectly say no to them.
