Dear all, I want my partnership firm covered under ESIC and EPF act. Now I want to convert it into a sole proprietor firm, another partner is resigning.
Is there any way to keep the same ESIC & EPF registrations number? what will the process?

Dear M-S-Rajshree-Associates,
Partnership Firm is a different entity registered under either Partnership Act or under CA (LLP). It is a contract between the persons thereto with specific conditions thereto.
Whereas Proprietary is a sole ownership.
You need to dissolve the Partnership Firm. Surrender all the registrations, licences, codes, NOCs etc to the respective department.
In propriety, you will be sole proprietor. When you start it, you have to apply and obtain the applicable registrations, licences, codes, NOCs etc. under its name under your proprietary.
