dear shyam first of all i would like to inform you that it is not your choice to choose from ESI or workmen compaensation act. dear you have to impliment ESI if you have 10/20 number of employees and your area falls under the jurisdiction of ESI.where ESI is not applicable there u are liable to give benefit under workmen compensation act 1923. see,in case of ESI medical benefit is given to your family, where as no medical benefit given under workmen compensation act .you will only get accidental benefit while course of employement but in case of ESI you and your dependant family get lot of medical and sickness benefit. tks j s malik
