I am Shalini working as HR Executive in a small company for past 5 months and earning only 7k. In the beginning my director told me only for 2 months your stipend will be 7k after that surely u will get more than that likewise he told me so i asked for salary hike aft completing my training. Again he is telling me to wait for still more 3 months. In this case I got a job in college as lecturer. So I don't know if I go in teaching field whether in future I can switch my career again to HR. Really confused please let me know your suggestion seniors

Hi Ms. Shalini
You have to decide about your career. If you feel Lecturer is better then you can join with college and if you want your career into HR then it is better to look for change into HR field only. If you change from HR to Lecturer then later switching back to HR will be difficult & I am not telling as its not possible

You have to decide about your career what exactly you like n what makes you u satisfy your HR, Lecturer. Dont only go for money, enjoy your work as well. so think about it

Hi Shalini,
Everyone will have one dream job, what is yours? If looking upon teaching profession is only for salary, then let me tell you, theoretical knowledge which we gain from college will only help us speak in HR language and when it comes to practical situation, you need to be hand on. Also having experience in teaching profession will not be considered as core experience when it comes to Human Resources. Good luck!

Dear Shalini,
Be very clear about your decisions in life, Depending upon family or friends to decide for you is wrong. You need to be sure about your vision.
What is right for your siblings, not necessarily right for you. There life is very different from your life. So, decide where you would be comfortable working and then choose, the same.

Dear Shalini,
Everyone has to balance life, your sibling may have found it difficult due to some reasons, so does it become a general rule. I know so many female married HR, who are balancing the house + job. Also i know a many female married lecturer who quit as they found it difficult to concentrate on their family life.
So, how can you assume that you may face the same problems, that your sibling was or is facing??
Be mature and not a child, to say that she was not able to so i will also be not able to.
The major problem is your will power, you need to be head strong to balance both. If you are not, then be the victim....
Choice is yours, Life is yours....
