hi
i have a prob while hiring a new emp thru PA40. organizational assignment (IT 0001) is not being saved and going to next IT 0002. if hv to do the same in PA30, im getting an error saying IT0001 is to be created while hiring an emp for the first time. how do i update IT0001 later ie in PA30. Per Nos. are created without organiztion assignment and so the PA and PSA are blank and i am unable to assign the person to the position in the OM.
can anyone pl give a soln.

unless you don’t assign a person in his/her position the per no cannot be generated... in that case first you go to pa 30 create org assign and then go to the next step Regards, Betsy

thanks. yah, per no. is being generated on executing PA40. but then with this per no. going to PA30 and while selecting organizational assgmt & execute, showing an error 'Orgznl assgmt to be created first time alongwith first hire'. that means im unable create the missing IT0001 in PA30.
shud i go thru the process of PA40 organization reassignment or what??
