i want an information regarding issuing of a pan card. i have jus completed my college n will be joining a job soon. i would like to kno that can i apply for a pan card now or should i wait till i join.

You can apply for a PAN Card. the form is available on incometaxindia.gov.in or you can also apply online by using websites of Tin-nsdl & UTI. for your information there is no age bar for applying a PAN Card.

you can apply pan card without any problem by using From 49A. It can be download from Tax Information Network. IF you know the procedure applying through online you can use this facility also.
you nedd to attach Address and ID Proof
for ID Proof your s.s.s Certificate copy is enough
for Address proof :
a copy of following any one can attach along with Form
1) Bank Pass Book
2) Ration Card
3) Passport
4) Driving Licence
5) Voter Id Card
6) a letter form Gazetted Offier etc.
you have to fix one colour photograh on the application and Form should be fill with Black Ink only.
after fill the Form you can submit the same any tin facilitation centre.
like Karvy, Bajaj Captil etc..
for your information these days there is lot significant about PAN Card as follows :
1) applying loan either Housing or Vehicle through any financial institute
2) for Filling of Income Tax Returns
3) for ID Proff
4) for buying any items more than 50,000/-
5) for Depositing cash more thank Rs. 50,000/- in any banks
6) for fixied deposits nither Term Deposites in banks as well as Post offices , we need to furnish PAN Card copy must.
apart from above there are lot uses with PAN Card.
