As per orders of Supreme Court, IRDA has made it mandatory to issue long term insurance policy on vehicles from 1.9.2018. Now it will be mandatory to take insurance for minimum 3 years in case of four-wheelers and for 5 years in case of two-wheelers as per IRDA circular attached.
