I am new to HR field.
I need to know about the first aid requirements for a factory running hazardous processes.
Our Factory has an employee strength of 50 People and we run phosphating machines which emit hazardous gasses.
I want to confirm whether we need to equip a proper first aid room with attendant for the above.
I could not find any detailed explanation in the factories act also.
Kindly help me.

First aid boxes and Fire extinguishers are mandatory for all organisations particularly production industries.Read the SCHEDULE V,VI,VII of Factories Act ( The Factories Act, Chapter - I).
