Why PESO license is not required for IPA. I know it is stated in FAQ, but reason for exemption is not know. Does some one help specifically on this matter.

The PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation) license is typically required for establishments handling hazardous substances, including industrial oxygen. However, IPA (Industrial Oxygen) is exempted from PESO licensing due to the following reasons:

1. Low reactivity: Industrial oxygen is non-reactive and non-flammable, reducing the risk of accidents or explosions.
2. Non-hazardous: Oxygen is not considered a hazardous substance in its pure form, unlike other industrial gases like acetylene or hydrogen.
3. Safe handling: IPA is typically handled and stored in a way that minimizes risks, using approved cylinders, valves, and safety equipment.
4. Regulatory framework: The regulatory framework in your country or region might have specific exemptions or relaxations for industrial oxygen, considering its safe handling and use.

Please note that while IPA might be exempt from PESO licensing, it's still essential to follow relevant safety guidelines, regulations, and industry standards for handling and storing industrial oxygen.
