Hi friends,
Currently I working in IT co. in HR Dep.My question is regarding Leave.IF an employee is on ESIC leave from 27.08.09 to 31.08.09 and Absent on 26.08.09 then whether any leave ( CL or SL ) is paid to him
In our company rule is that such leave is not given to an employee.
tell me proper answer. What is actual rule?

hi vaishali, if any employee having credit of sl/cl he can apply for the day before the certification of ESIC

when the employee has availed esi leave , he cannot avail any other leave during the period. Prefix and suffix can be any other leave.
He has to get benefit from esi for esi leave

If you have availed ESI leave then you will get the benefit from ESIC & in that particular time period you cannot avail any of the leaves. EL,CL,SL can be prefix or suffix can be.
