Hi friends,
I Joined in a Singapore based Company on November 7th 2013,I got salary on 10th December.
My Actual salary is 21,000 per Month.
They Calculated my salary as Total No.of days in a Month = 30 Days
So Per day will be 21,000/30=700/-
My No.of working days are 19 days(With out Sundays+ 1.5 days Leave)-1000(For LIC and Medical), So they given me 19*700=13,300.
My Question is, When they are calculating the per day salary,They counted Sunday also.
When come to my salary they Deducted Sunday's.
when i asked them the reason, they are saying that this is the company policy. Is this policy is correct???????Help me guys.......Thanks in Advance

Neither this is the practice nor the Policy.
The rule is that if employer opt for total days of a month to calculate the per day salary, weekly holidays will automatically be counted as number of working.
If employer opted for excluding the holiday to calculate the per day salary, then actual number of working days will be calculated.
i.e.
Case 1 : Monthly Salary/month days X actual working days + weekly off
Case 2 : Monthly Salary/26 or 27 X actual working days

You just ask them to workout your per day wage...
If they calculated based on the month days then you refere them that each employee are entitled for 1 day paid weekly off on each 6 days.
AND if the calculate by excluding the weekly off, then your purpose will be automatically solved.
