Hi, According to the Maternity Benefit Act, the expecting mother shall work at least 80 days in a company to avail of this benefit.
Can the number of working days be altered by the company according to the requirement while introducing this benefit to staff?

This is the statutory requirement, so you cannot add any more days to it (i.e., making it >80) but reduction in eligibility is OK (i.e., <80)
