Hi,
If something unfair happens to employees at work they can file a grievance with the company they work for. This is a formal complaint procedure.
In general the normal procedure is initially the employee makes a formal, written complaint to the immediate superior and a formal investigation begins. After verifying facts the the investigator arrive at a conclusion either in favour of employee based on investigation or otherwise.
To prevent grievances there should be a congenial and transparent work environment in the Organisation. But employees grievances are inevitable in any Organisation irrespective of best efforts of employers as the mind set of individuals differ from one to one and even a good move can be perceived in a negative way.
