Dear Ms.Shilpi,
To form a policy about leave it is first required to know under which authority your establishment falls.
Shop and Establishment or Factory.
Boht are having different rules for leave, break hours ,working hours.etd.
From your question it is seen that you might falls under S & E.It is better first to go thru S & E Act before drafint the policy. There should be a legal base for the policy. What are the terms which are mandatory by the S & E act please list out all and read carefully. Then for each issue you can think upoun your own with consulation of other senior officers.
Hopes this may help you.

This is a good mode of syatem to control the late coming employees. This have to be approved by the Standing Orders of the Company, which will have to be displyed at the entry of the establishment and also this system is according to the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act. Please go through this act. Because, we need to go through the respective act/rules before implementing a decission.

Dear All,
I need authenticated information on the following for implementation:
1. what are the minimum requirements to get registered under Shops & Establishments Act of Karnataka Govt.
2. What are the mandatory records to be maintained by the owner under the act in respect of services engaged by him to carry out his/ her business activity. (I think first & foremost thing to do before starting any business is to create a constitution of company and proceed further with Appointment/working hours/holidays/leaves/ bonus/esi/epf/salary/conveyance/hra/and others). In case there are other important things, please mention those.
thanks.
