Nice article. However what I feel is everyone should keep him/herself abreast with the latest knowledge and as HR Managers we should be aware of all the skills which are required in different functions as we are not limited to only mktg or finance but we need to deal with all departments' people.

Am a newly appointed adminstrator of the political party in Uganda. I was assigned to make new changes in the organisation. therefore this is to request you to send me any tips which may lead me to make new changes. we have problems in Financial systems, registration and register data base and of course we lack a clear method of carrying out regional activities to bring on board youth snd women. can someone really assist me with this. What you need to do is to create systems and processes for each and every department. Secondly, there should be audit to measure to what extent these systems and process were followed or not followed.
I will help you in this work as consultant. However, my services are paid one. Recently, I had been to Nigeria and my client was more than satisfied on my services.
