One employee appointed and at that time the Pay plus DA is less than 15000/- and he is enrolled under EPF. Subsequently subsequent years by increment and revision on DA rates by the Tamilnadu Government he reached more than 15000/- for example Rs.20000/-In that case the employee is paying 12% subscription =2400/- The management has to pay Rs.2400/- or Rs.1800/- in the ceiling of Rs.15000/-

The employer need not pay the same amount that the employee contributes but the employer can restrict his contribution to 12% of Rs 15000, ie, Rs 1800. While preparing the ECR, you can put 20000 under EPF salary and 15000 under EPS salary. Obviously, under EDLI also the same 15000 should be put.
