please refer to the company/organisation regulations as the benefit is within the ambit of PF rules. However, you are eligible for PF on the day 1st of your joining the institution/organisation/company.

As a part of joining formality the company must have provided you Form No. 2 ( Nomination form for PF,EPS and EDLI ) which signifies your enrollment for PF.
Apart from this you are not required to go to any PF office. Generally, PF No. is displayed in your Payslip which you can refer to. In case it is not there, you may approach your HR
